Abstract. The article is dedicated to the study of “the modern problems of territorial organization of ağrıculture in the Lankaran-Astara economic region”. The methodological bases of the territorial organization of ağrıculture were investigated, and appropriate tables and maps were prepared based on statistical materials in the economic region. The natural-geographical conditions and economic factors influencing the development of the efficient territorial organization of agriculture have been analyzed in the region. In the last State programs (2014-2018 and 2019-2023), the main development trends of the agricultural sector and the importance of the advantages of creating agro parks and modern large farms were reflected in the region. The main goals and objectives have been fulfilled by analyzing the modern state and prospects of agriculture in the research area. To correctly solve the problems encountered in the region’s agriculture and its processing enterprises, appropriate recommendations were prepared using a statistical, systematic approach, mathematical analysis, cartographic and other methods.
