Xülasə. Məqalədə Şamaxı rayonu Avaxıl və Dəmirçi kənd inzibati ərazi dairələrinin təbii-coğrafi və so­sial-iqtisadi şəraiti təhlil olunaraq, ərazinin ekoturizm potensialı müəyyən edilmişdir. Əraziyə baxış keçirilmiş, hər bir yaşayış məntəqəsində əhali arasında sosial sorğu aparılmış, əhalinin həyat şəraiti və məşğuliyyəti öyrənilmişdir. Ərazinin özünəməxsus xüsusiyyətləri nəzərə alınmaqla sosial-iqti­sadi şərait təhlil edilmiş, mövcud problemləri aradan qaldırmaq üçün tədbirlər planı hazırlanmışdır. Dəmirçi kəndi model ərazi olaraq seçilmiş, ərazinin peyk şəkilləri əsasında torpaqdan istifadə xəri­təsi tərtib olunmuşdur.

Аннотация. В статье изучены географические возможности муниципалитетов Авахыл и Демирчи Шамахинско­го района. Анализируя природно-географические и социально-экономические условия, был определен потенциал экотуризма в этом районе. В ходе иссле­дования в каждом посещенном поселении на тер­ритории было проведен социальный опрос населе­ния. Подводя итоги исследования и наблюдения, были изучены условия жизни и занятость населения. Уни­кальные особенности района учитываются при ана­лизе социально-экономических условий и при под­готовке плана действий. Деревня Демирчи была выбрана как особая модельная территория. На осно­ве спутниковых изображений района была составле­на карта землепользования.

Abstract. The geographical opportunities of Avakhyl and Da­mirchi municipalities of Shamakhy district have been studied in the article. Analyzing natural-geographical and socio-economic conditions, the ecotourism potential of the area has been determined. During the study, the teritory was visited and social survey was conducted among the population in each settlement. By summari­zing the results of the survey and observation, there were studied the living conditions and occupation of the po­pulation. The unique features of the area are taken into account during the analysis of socio-economic conditi­ons and in the preparation of an action plan. Damirchi village was selected as a special model territory and the land use map has been compiled on the basis of satellite images of the area.
