Annotation. Nowadays, sufficient attention is paid to the tourism sector within the sustainable development of the economy due to the fact that the tourism sector has great economic potential. The tourism attraction includes one main point: anyone can find what he/she is looking for. For example, resting in mountainous places, watching and enjoying the beauty of the forest landscape, traveling to caves with traces of ancient history, relaxing on the shores of water bodies, etc. Hydro-tourism or water tourism has greater potential among these directions of tourism as hydro-tourism has become attractive for recreation. Due to the increase in air temperature in recent years, it has become a mass concentration of tourists. Along with helping relieve fatigue and providing long-distance travel along rough rivers, hydro-tourism creates favourable conditions for sunbathing and swimming in lakes, reservoirs, and seas. In this connection, the article studies hydro-tourism resources of the Gusar tourism-recreation zone and analyses the potential that could arise from their usage.
