INVESTIGATION OF AGRICULTURE IN URBAN AND SUBURBAN LANDSCAPES

Annotation

The article analyzes the development prospects of agriculture in the urban landscape and its future forecast. The territorial and population growth of the urban landscape of Mingachevir has been determined. In order to improve the food supply of the growing population, ways to develop agriculture in the city area in addition to imported products were analyzed. At that time, both traditional and modern methods were used. Based on the mathematical-statistical method, the production of agricultural products of the research area, their cultivated areas, productivity, animal husbandry and its products were studied. Based on modern methods, the borders of the city were determined in 2023. In 1975, the border line was determined based on the topographical plan. The conducted studies reflect the rapid development of the city in a short period of time. This development has led to the decline of agriculture in the urban landscape and its development in the surrounding areas.
