HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS OF BAKU BAY DURING THE GLOBAL CLIMATIC CHANGE

Z.S.Allahverdiyev, N.I.Ahmadov, A.F.Ahmadova

The long-term data from Baku hydrometeorological station on precipitation, wind, temperature of water and air within the period of 1961-2010 were used in the paper. The averages monthly, seasonal, annual and perennial norm of these parameters were calculated and comparative analysis were made. It was revealed that during the period of 1991-2010 rainfall increased significantly, air and water temperature is within the climatic norm. It is shown that the north (29.1%), north–north-west (11.6%) and south winds (13.1%) dominate. The average velocities of those winds are, respectively, 7.0, 5.6 and 4.3 m/sec.
