Annotation. In the article, the landscapes spread in the territory of Nakhchivan AR and their transformation, its results are analyzed. The transformation of landscapes occurs as a result of both natural and anthropogenic influences. These transformations can create irreversible changes in landscapes. Modern methods were used during the research. Data from Landsat 5, 8 and 9 satellites were processed and the results were compared. The SAV and NDV indexes were used to study and compare the vegetation cover, and the NDW index was used to analyze the water cover. Landsat 5 satellite images from 1987 and Landsat 8 and 9 satellite images from 2022 were processed. It was determined that the components of the landscape were changed as a result of anthropogenic and natural effects. The water level in the water basins has decreased, the area has decreased, and the level of plant coverage has weakened. Also, the humidity has decreased. The area of the places with a negative value of the SAV index decreased by 91%, while the area of the places with a positive index increased. The area of the places with the NDM index up to 0.2 has increased, while the area of the places with other indices has decreased. The area of the places with the NDW index up to 0.4 has increased, and the area of the places with the index higher than 0.4 has decreased.
