UNIQUE NATURAL MONUMENTS OF THE NORTH-WESTERN REGION OF THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN

Abstract. The studied territory is enveloping Ardabil, Eastern-Azerbaijan and Western-Azerbaijan ostans of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has high potential for the development of geotourism here. In the complex of great number of the heterogeneous objects of present field of tourism, a special place belongs to the natural monuments. The importants of the sights of these more interesting monuments are their genetic diversity, uniquity, aesthetical and exotical attractiveness, scientifical significance and many other qualitative characteristics. In article discusses some of these natural monuments of present region.
