PERSPECTIVES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE BUILDING MATERIALS INDUSTRY AND JUSTIFICATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ISSUES IN STATE PROGRAMS

Annotation. It is known that a large part of the environmental problems that have arisen in the Capital and surrounding regions in recent years are related to the rapid development of the construction materials in­dustry. In the last 20 years, the increasing construction work in the republic has increased the consumption of construction materials and led to the production and processing of more construction materials. Of course, the increase in production and processing of building material raw materials means more pollution of the environment. At the same time, the increase in pro­duc­tion and processing has led to concerns that raw ma­te­rials will be depleted sooner. For this purpose, the article analyzed the perspective directions of the development of the building materials industry in Baku and Ab­she­ron-Khizi economic regions and envi­ron­mental pro­tec­tion issues. First of all, the natural and economic factors affecting the development of the construction materials industry and environmental pollution in both economic regions were studied. The current state of the building materials industry in the region, its prospects, and environmental protection issues were analyzed on the basis of statistical and scientific materials.
