CURRENT STATUS OF INDUSTRY IN DASHKASEN DISTRICT

Abstract. It is an important mission to effectively use the natural and geographical conditions and the natural resource potential. Implementing measures in this direction assists in increasing the role of the region in the socioeconomic development of the country. Daskhkasan district is rich in metal minerals. There are rich reserves of iron ore, alunite, and polymetallic ores, including gold, cobalt, slag limestone and other minerals. After the second half of the 20th century, iron ore and alunite resources were commenced using, and enterprises were established for their processing. However, at the end of the century, due to the dif­fi­culties of the transitional period, the extraction of minerals also stopped since the processing facilities stopped working. Dashkasan district is also one of the areas distinguished by its rich tourism, climatic and balneological resources. Taking measures to use them can have a positive effect on its development.
