THE SOLUTION OF THE EMPLOYMENT PROBLEM IN IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE POPULATION OF THE GREATER CAUCASIAN PROVINCE

Abstract. Solving the employment problem of the population is one of the main indicators of the socioeconomic development policy implemented by the state. Developing the labour market in the regions, accelerating the opening of new jobs and providing effective employment of the population are important issues. In this regard, the article provides information on the number of employed population in the Greater Caucasus region, its number in the distribution of economic activities, and new jobs. The analyzes were calculated on the basis of population census materials and statistical data for the years 2000-2020, and the changes occurring in this area were studied. The employment structure for 2009 and 2020 was comparatively analyzed by economic regions. At the same time, prospective employment of the population was investigated in order to improve the quality of life in the province. At this time, solutions to employment problems are analyzed and appropriate recommendations are given for their elimination.
