THE ROLE OF POWER INDUSTRY IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONS OF AZERBAIJAN

Abstract. The article is devoted to the current state of electric power industry, as well as the role of this industry in the socio-economic development of regions of Azerbaijan. The work also deals with the issue of finding ways on ra­tional use of alternative and renewable energy re­so­ur­ces in the country.
