IMPACT OF TRANSPORT ON SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE TERRITORY

N.T.Amikishiyeva

Abstract. The article presents an economic and geographical analysis of the impact of transport on the socio-economic development of the territory. To identify the characteristic features of the formation of a transport network, the main factors affecting transport availability, the density of the transport network and the efficiency of using transport communications are revealed. For this purpose, the main theoretical studies in this area are considered. At the same time, special emphasis is placed on the scientific developments of foreign scientists. The generalization of the results of the analysis of these studies allows us to conclude that the geography of the routes being laid for transport communications largely determines the degree of development of the territory and its future socio-economic development. In this case, the geographical location, natural conditions and relief features of the area must be taken into account, and transport infrastructure that meets international standards must be created. From this point of view, the article examines the ways of creating a production-services-income-employment chain, studies the logistics system and international experience, and provides a methodological basis for the transport system based on the principles of supply and demand and economic calculations.

Keywords: structure of the area, transport network, transport provision, population settlement, traffic density, freight traffic, living standards of the population.
