Study of some microoronymms of the southeast part of the Greater Caucasus (Microoronyms reflecting negative relief forms)

Annotation. The article discusses the micro-names of the negative relief form of the south-eastern part of the Greater Caucasus. The specified area is distin-guished by an abundance of micro-oronyms with positive and negative relief forms. In general, there are geographical names with a negative relief form that include any number of micro-names in these territories. The reason for all this was the vertical zonality of the terrain (plain, steppe, etc.). Because the population gave a name to each object in the territories they use for pastures and villages. Toponyms are a valuable and rich historical source for the preservation of our na-tural-historical, spiritual and literary heritage, including the study of the historical and geographical past of the Azerbaijani people, and are an interesting object of research for other fields of science. In this regard, the registered person, tribe, surnames, places of worship, names of minerals, relief, color, location, hydronym, names of settlements, types of economic activity, names of castles, names of plants and animals, etc. are registered. Area microoronyms of negative relief form, formed in connection with Historical background of microoronym, its language, history of creation, origin, meaning, etc. research was conducted. A map-scheme of microoronyms with negative is given.
