INFLUENCE OF LANDSCAPE DIFFERENTIATION ON THE RİVER FLOW IN GUSARCHAY-GUDYALCHAY BASIN

Abstract. Rivers are an important component of the landscape. As physical and geographical factors change, morphometric indicators and flow mode of the river network change as well. Landscape differentiation shows influence on this process too. Thus, the landscape is an aggregate of the interaction of all geographical elements.
During the research, landscape maps and data of modern geographical information systems were used. According to the formula Q=f (H), the flow quantity in different landscape types was determined and compared to actual quantities. The relief, climate, and soil and plant cover of the Gusarchay-Gudyalchay basin were studied and influence of the indicators on river flow mode was analyzed during the assessment of the territory from the standpoint of landscape.
