TOPONYMS OF GOBUSTAN ADMINISTRATIVE TERRITORY

Abstract. The paper reflects certain stages of our history, sac­red places among other names of the administrative ter­ritory of Gobustan. These historical stages include the historical periods of the Middle Age, Zoroastrianism and fire-worship At the same time, a special place is taken by the proven curative property of the land taken from these sacred places. Despite their antiquity, they still remain places of pilgrimage. Various historical ma­terials are systematically used in the article. The origin of the names of sacred sites has been reliably studied from the point of view of history and location.
