USİNG GEOGRAPHİCAL INFORMATİON SYSTEM (GIS) FOR OPTİMAL SİTE SELECTİON ON ESTABLİSHMENT OF SOLAR POWER PLANTS

Abstract. In this paper the relevant geographical and econo­mical areas for solar power stations were defined by uti­lizing the software of geographical information system, the maps were also compiled. Recommendations were given by taking into account the various criterion, based on the analysis of GIS technology.
