Annotation. The geosystems of the Ganja-Gazakh plain, where ancient settlements are widespread, and the surrounding area have changed due to the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors, which has led to the creation of new structured landscapes in the area. For this reason, the study of the structural-functional and genetic characteristics of the Ganja-Gazakh Plain landscapes, the study of the effects of anthropogenic factors on the landscapes of the area was set as a goal. In the article, the structural-functional and genetic characteristics of the landscapes of the Ganja-Gazakh plain and the surrounding area geosystems were studied on the basis of field expedition observations and complex landscape mapping, decoding of space images, as well as modern geographic information (GIS) technologies.  From the analysis of the received scientific results, it was determined that 5 landscape types, 7 landscape subtypes, and 55 landscape types were formed in the research area. Areas where landscape species are distributed, the area structure of species is determined according to the inclination of the relief. Separate components of landscapes with different structural-functional characteristics were dynamically analyzed. 24.8% (1361.5 km2) of the study area with a total area of 5497.4 km2 consists of lowland arid-denudation landscapes dominated by clayey and clayey-limestone rocks with high exodynamic sensitivity. Based on the trend map given in the article, it is possible to see that a large part of the research area consists of areas with a 0-50 trend.

Keywords: landscape, types, inclination, structural-functional, genetic  characteristics.
