SOCIO-GEOGRAPHICAL ASSESSMENT OF WATER RESOURCES AND THEIR PROVISION OF THE SOUTHERN SLOPE OF THE GREATER CAUCASUS

Abstract. The article investigates the increase of the level of development of water security of the Sheki-Zagatala economic and geographical region, located on the sout­hern slope of the Greater Caucasus and the task of pro­vision, modern state and geographical conditions of the appearance of the water resources of river basins in the region, different ways of interaction, while ensuring that farms, population of cities and areas with water are con­sidered, the reasons for the shortcomings in the organi­zation of their use and proposals for their locally econo­mic use are given
