SEX-AGE AND REGIONAL DƏFFERENCES İN CARDİOVASCULAR DISEASES AND RELATED DEATH IN AZERBAİJAN

Annotation. The article contains information about the wide spread of cardiovascular diseases in Azerbaijan and about the recent significant increase in the number of people suffering from cardiovascular diseases, the increase in the incidence not only among the elderly, but also among young people. The study of the prevalence of cardiovascular diseases in the territory of the republic according to the sex and age composition of the population and the assessment of the localization of the disease among the population are interpreted. Information on the prevalence of the disease between women and men is influenced by both genetic and social problems, the fact that men have a higher mortality rate than women, and the fact that over the past 13 years the incidence among young people aged 14 to 29 years has almost doubled in age groups and sex composition of the population. The dynamics of mortality associated with this disease has been compiled. There is evidence of male predominance in most age groups and female predominance in the 50-65 age group in disease mortality. In connection with the pandemic in 2019-2020. extensive data on the prevalence of myocardial infarction among men and women were brought to the
fore due to the different localization of cardiovascular diseases and deaths in both sexes.
