Annotation<\/strong>. The existence of a direct relationship between the environment and human health, the role of pollutants released into the atmosphere in the causes and spread of diseases was discussed in the article. The main cause of illness in Baku is respiratory system diseases. \u0130n the article, one of the main goals was to study the role of pollutants released into the at-mosphere from those regions in the geographical distribution of respiratory system diseases in the administrative districts of the Baku economic region. As a result, there is a linear relationship between the incidence of the disease and carbon oxides (r=0.80471, P<0.005, CI (0.4180-0.9416)) and nitrogen oxides (r=0.765992, P<0.005, CI (0.3514-0.932)) emitted into the atmosphere, and it was determined that there is a positive statistically significant correlation. As a result of regression analysis, dependence between variables was obtained. Thus, the geographical distribution of respiratory system diseases in Baku by administrative districts indicates a 65% dependence on the amount of carbon oxides emitted into the atmosphere from stationary sources, and 60% on the amount of nitrogen oxides in those districts. At the same time, the highest incidence of respiratory system diseases was witnessed in the Sabail administrative district, where the most nitrogen and carbon oxides have been released into the atmosphere in Baku (19%).<\/p>\n
