Abstr<\/strong>a<\/strong>ct.<\/strong> A complex combination of factors and conditions of relief formation, their temporal variabi\u00adlity, as well as anthropogenic influence, determined the extreme diversity of geosystems of the coastal strip of the Caspian Sea, both morphogenetically and chrono\u00adlo\u00adgically.\u00a0The morphological characteristics of the shores of the Caspian Sea are the result of the influence of processes of abrasion and accumulation of materials and the formation of new coastal forms. However, it should be noted that the morphology of the shores of the Caspian Sea reflects existing trends in their development over the past 20 years, the main of which is the tendency to erosion.\u00a0The landscape features of the studied coastal strip are largely predetermined by the long and complex history of the geological development of the territory, its location at the junction of three large morpho\u00adstruc\u00adtural zones. The formation of coastal geosystems was particularly influenced by fluctuations in the level of the Caspian Sea, climate change and multidirectional re\u00adcent deformations.<\/p>\n
