Annotation<\/strong>. The role and importance of rec\u00adre\u00adation resources in the development of tourism are significant. Therefore, in order to determine the possibilities of using any area for recreational pur\u00adposes, it is necessary to study and evaluate the rec\u00adreation and tourism re\u00adso\u00adurces of the area. The cor\u00adrect placement, utilization and use of these re\u00adso\u00adur\u00adces emphasizes the im\u00adportance of a more in-depth and accurate study of the influence of natural con\u00additions in specific areas. In the article, the main na\u00adtural factors affecting the tourism-recreational po\u00adtential of the southern slope of the Greater Cau\u00adca\u00adsus were investigated. Fa\u00advo\u00adrable natural conditions and development of cli\u00adma\u00adte, landscape, hydro\u00adgra\u00adphic net\u00adwork, attractiveness of natural monuments, favorable ecological en\u00advironment are attributed to natural rec\u00adre\u00adation re\u00adsources in the research area. It should be noted that although the studied part of the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus has rich natural monuments that directly affect the potential of tourism-rec\u00adre\u00adation, so\u00adme\u00adtimes natural condi\u00adti\u00adons can negatively affect the development of to\u00adurism here.<\/p>\n
