Abstract<\/strong>. The use of lands for various purposes is determined by relief and climatic indicators. The combination of these two components results in increased uptake. In the presented article, we analyzed the main feature of the climate, which is one of the main components of the ecosystem. The climate plays an important role in the development of the study area, in various areas of the economy, including the resettlement of the population. Temperature, precipitation, wind and other climatic factors especially influence the development of agriculture, industry and tourism. The article studies the influence of climatic features of the mountainous geosystems of the northeastern slope of the Greater Caucasus for the development of the territory for agricultural purposes. For this, temperature indicators above 5 and 10C, the humidity coefficient, the duration of sunny days, and the total total radiation are brought to the fore. In addition, an analysis of agroclimatic resources was carried out and the zoning of the study area was carried out, as well as the degree of their development was determined. Each of the noted climatic factors was studied separately, the degree of agricultural suitability and use of the study area was studied, as well as the emerging and possible environmental problems were studied.<\/p>\n
