The main goal of the article is to study the biogeochemical properties of samples of rocks, soil, silt and plants belonging to different types of landscape on the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus (northwestern &#8211; Sheki-Zagatala region of Azerbaijan), to determine the existing biogeochemical method. To determine the biogeochemical cycles of chemical elements entering the landscape from the biosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere, numerous samples were taken from rocks, soils, silt and plant species in the area and their chemical composition was studied. It was found that most of the rock varieties are rich in chemical elements \u2013 Ca, Mn and Pb. Migration and accumulation of trace elements &#8211; Cu, Ni and Pb in soils and plants mainly occurs on automorphic slopes and watersheds.
