Annotation<\/strong>. In the article, extensive studies were conducted on the use of water resources of the Hekari River in the water supply of the population of the Republic. Solution options have been proposed regarding the use of the high-quality water resources created in the part of the river formed in the territory of the Republic for the water supply of the population. Conducted hydrological reports at the confluence of the Shalva and Gochazsu branches of the river, 950.0 m absolute level, volume 70.0 mln. It shows that the construction of the “Hekari” water reservoir, which will be up to a cubic meter, is expedient. It will be possible to supply more than 4.0 million people of the republic with permanent drinking water with the water taken from the reservoir to be built at this level. According to the prepared hydraulic scheme, by creating a self-flowing pressurized system, the water taken from the reservoir can be used to supply drinking water to the population living in Gubadli, Zangilan, Jabrayil, Fizuli, Aghdam, Aghjabedi, Beylagan, Imishli and other settlements located in the Kura-Araz plain, including Baku city. Taking into account the differences in the drinking water demand of the population in the winter and summer seasons, a part of the water reserve of the river is planned to be built near the city of Fuzuli, with a volume of 40.0 mln. It is planned to be collected in the “Cuvarl\u0131” water reservoir, which will be cubic meters.<\/p>\n
