The article examines the ecological diversity and sustainability of land use in order to increase efficiency in the geocomplexes of the north-eastern slope of the Greater Caucasus (areas between Gudyalchay-Samurchay rivers). In assessing the environmental sustainability of the study, it was justified that the study area belongs to the ecologically stable group. Grouping and assessment were conducted to determine the extent of anthropogenic impacts in the area. Based on the assessment, the study area was found to be moderately exposed to anthropogenic impacts. Inefficient organization of agro-landscapes is one of the main reasons for delaying crop cultivation and increasing production costs.
