Mekhtiyev<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The article shows how to create a model for predicting carbon dioxide emissions from fuel combustion. The purpose of creating the model is to study the possibility of fulfilling the obligations of the Republic of Azerbaijan under the Paris Agreement on global climate change.<br \/>\nThe macroeconomic indicators of the country were used as indicators for the model, i.e. population, gross domestic product, fuel production and consumption. To build the forecast, statistical estimates of macroeconomic indicators for 2015\u20132020 were taken.
