Therefore, serious questions arise in the analysis and forecasting of the risk of the development of unfavorable processes in ecogeomorphological systems and, in general, in areas subject to military operations. As a result of a brief ecogeomorphological analysis, it was revealed that armed conflicts and hostilities entail a violation of environmental safety, as a result of which an environmental cataclysm occurs. The hostilities in mountainous areas lead to the activation of slope processes \u2014 landslides, avalanches, talus, etc. The creation of fortifications and shell holes can lead to the development of
