Abstract<\/strong>. The article analyzes the morphometric parameters of the relief, which is an integral part of the environment. Quantitative indicators determining the di\u00advision of the relief (horizontal and vertical frag\u00admen\u00adtation, slope) were calculated and mapped using the pro\u00adcessing of remote sensing materials and GIS technology. The area of the specified morphometric quantitative indicators for certain gradations was also calculated. In general, in more than 75% of the study area, horizontal and vertical fragmentation and slope values were mo\u00adderate. This is due to the fact that the Kura-Araz lowland and the relief of the adjacent territories are flat territories. The morphometric indicators of the relief were eva\u00adlu\u00adated separately (1-8 points) according to the degree of tension. Horizontal and vertical fragmentation, slope in\u00addicators are superimposed in the form of separate map layers, and a general map of morphometric tension of the study area is compiled, according to the degree of tension on this map, the following areas are highlighted: weak (1-2 points), moderate (3-4 points), medium (5-6 points) and high (7-8 points).<\/p>\n
