Abstract<\/strong>. The purpose of the article is to determine the role of State Programs in the development of plant growing, in providing permanent jobs for the local po\u00adpulation and increasing its well-being. The article also discusses measures aimed at determining the role of these programs in the development of plant growing in the Lankaran-Astara economic-geographical region.\u00a0Reliable food supply is a key condition for the eco\u00adnomic stability of any country. In this regard, the Azer\u00adbaijani state is taking multifaceted measures to ensure reliable food supply to the population and the deve\u00adlop\u00adment of the non-oil sector. For this purpose, state prog\u00adrams aimed at the development of the agricultural sec\u00adtor, on which food security depends, are adopted.<\/p>\n

After gaining independence, in transition economic condition Azerbaijan began to implement State Prog\u00adrams to improve and develop the state of crop pro\u00adduc\u00adtion. The\u00a0 obtained\u00a0 positive results laid the foundation for the continuation of these\u00a0 Programs. There are a number of\u00a0 State Programs in the Lankaran-Astara eco\u00adnomic-geographical region to\u00a0 increase\u00a0 productivity and harvest in tea, rice, fruit growing and other areas.<\/p>\n
