Abstract<\/strong>. The article comprehensively analyzes key indicators (humus, carbonate) and the results of palyno\u00adlogical studies of buried soils of the Middle and Late Pleistocene age in six characteristic sections of the Ga\u00adnykh-Ayrichay valley. The dynamics of changes in the content of humus and carbonate in buried soils found in this territory was studied, and the nature of the cor\u00adrelation between these values was determined. The re\u00adsults are analyzed together with data from palynological and mineralogical studies, and also the reasons for the high levels of humus and carbonate, including direct or feedback between them, are clarified. Substantiated sci\u00adentific assumptions about the formation of the relief, cli\u00admate and vegetation of the Ganykh-Ayrichay valley in the Khazar and Hvalyn centuries are put forward and the paleogeographic conditions of these periods are restored based on the new results.<\/p>\n
