Abstract<\/strong>. The article provides brief information abo\u00adut the wa\u00adter resources of Azerbaijan, their use, and management of these resources, as well as their re\u00adduc\u00adtion under the influence of anthropogenic factors. Spe\u00adcial attention is paid to the analysis of the level of de\u00adve\u00adlop\u00adment of various branches of hyd\u00adro\u00adlo\u00adgy in the co\u00adun\u00adtry, one of the most important tasks of which is the study of water re\u00adsources.\u00a0 It is indicated that, at present, only some are\u00adas of hydrology are developing in Azer\u00adbaijan.\u00a0The causes of this phenomenon have been inves\u00adti\u00adga\u00adted; proposals have been prepared for the development of important fundamental fields of application of hyd\u00adro\u00adlogy, as well as the training of qualified personnel in this direction. It became known that water resources in Azer\u00adbaijan are constantly decreasing due to the impact of eco\u00adnomic activity and climate change. On the other hand, their quality indicators do not comply with exis\u00adting environmental standards. In this context, integration with sci\u00adentific organizations and executive bodies re\u00adgar\u00adding the matter of the sale of water resources and their use is important.<\/p>\n
