Abstract.<\/strong> In general, it is crucial to maintain the plan-elevation condition of any type of communications on the physical surface of the Earth not only during its design and construction, but also during its operation. For this purpose, a special monitoring system is required throughout the line.One of the main requirements for the monitoring system is its installation in a single co\u00adordinate environment. A unified coordinate system ensures the integrity of the entire water-pipe system, that is, unified communication of all parts of the water-pipe line, technical means and facilities located on the communication line. In principle, it is not hard theoretically and experimentallyto conduct a single coordinating environment with geodesic coordinates.However, in many areas of the economy, including the monitoring of large-scale water supply communication lines, it is more convenient to use of flat coordinates. And, this requires a transition from a spherical surface to aflat surface and the selection of a specific geodesic projection for this purpose.<\/p>\n

In the presented article, justification for the selection of optimal geodetic projection was carried out and the accuracy indicators were calculated to establish a single coordinate environment for monitoring the Oguz-Ga\u00adbala-Baku water supply line.<\/p>\n
