The article analyses the amount of atmospheric precipitations in the city of Baku. The values of long-term period and over recent years (1991-2012) have been compared (up to 1961) according to the standards adopted by the WMO (1961-1990). It was determined, that the amount of precipitations for 1961-1991 has increased by 19% compared with the long-term period. And for the 1991-2112 it was increased by about 1.5 times in comparison with the long-term period.\u00a0\u00a0The author concludes that it is times to collect these waters in small reservoirs and use in summer for irrigation of parks and gardens.<\/p>\n
