Abstract.<\/strong> The existing natural conditions in the last 5 million years, beginning since the productive layer, in the Absheron peninsula and adjoining regions are restored on the basis of paleobotanical (mainly, palino\u00adlogical) researches in the article. The gradual increase of territory of the peninsula is traced. These questions are analyzed from the stand point of utility of man\u2019s residing here and it becomes out that the peninsula was the place of settling since 2-1 million years. But the available facts show that the settling of this region took place since the mesolit (XIII-XII thousand years B.C.).<\/p>\n
