Abstract.<\/strong> The orotectonic characteristic of the relief of Azer\u00adbaijan is considered from the standpoint of geodrifto\u00adgenic conception in the article. Ac\u00adcording to principal of theory of neobilism and geosin\u00adclinal is studied as theo\u00adretical geomorphology. Thus ge\u00adotectonic cycle in geo\u00adlogy in geodriftogenal cycle of morphogenesis and evo\u00adlution of relief are devided into morphodivergenal, mor\u00adphoconvergenal and morphoan\u00advergenal stages. The each stage can further be divided into sub-stage tafro\u00admorphologenesis and foromorpho\u00adgenesis; submorpho\u00adgenesis and ortomorphogenesis; dismorphogenesis and planymorphogenesis. The oro\u00adtectonic units of research area are associated with the palaeotectonic structures of the morphoconvergenal sta\u00adge \u2013 submorphogenetic and uncompleted ortomorpho\u00adgenetic sub-stages.<\/p>\n
