Abstract<\/strong>.\u00a0The article deals with the study of formation and de\u00advelopment of economic and social infrastructure of the economic and geographical region of Absheron. The re\u00adgion is different from the other parts of Azerbaijan so as it is characterized with the too high concentration of in\u00addustrial facilities and the availability of larger manufac\u00adturing output due to the rapid development of petroleum industry. In the scientific work, the ways of solution of problem of distribution of population, as well as envi\u00adronmental issues are investigated. The importance of re\u00adgional policy in the development of socioeconomic ba\u00adse, and also the relevant measures of improvement with taking into consideration local condition are studied as well.<\/p>\n
